Programs
A free virtual certificate program helping early-career scientists connect their research to policy, diplomacy, and real-world impact.
Designed for early-career scientists based in the United States, the program supports scientists who are interested in engaging beyond academia and making meaningful, real-world impact with their work.
Grounded in the ReclaimingSTEM Institute (RSI) model, the program combines foundational science policy knowledge with identity-aware, equity-centered, and community-rooted approaches to public engagement. Participants will complete five interactive sessions that integrate skill-building, peer learning, and applied practice, culminating in a capstone project session that translates scientific expertise into a policy-relevant or public-facing product connected to real-world policy contexts.
As part of our pilot series, we are looking for 10-12 participants to be part of our first cohort! Participants will join weekly in our workshop series, build connections, and most importantly create community.
When: May 6th-June 3rd
Wednesdays from 5-6 pm ET / 4-5 pm CT / 2-3 pm PT
